I am interested in making paintings that combine theatricality with a felt vulnerability. I use thick impasto and agitated brushwork to find a sense of movement and often, anxiety or unease, in my subjects. Most of the time, I paint from direct observation or from sketches of dreams.

Born 1995, I split my childhood years between Hong Kong and the Philippines. I studied Philosophy at Haverford College (2014-2018) and received a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Fine Art from Brandeis University (2023). Today, my studio practice is based in Queens, NY.
